The cultivation of the grapevine variety Trebbiano is common in Abruzzo since the sixteenth century. This white Vitis cultivar yields the DOC certified Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, a well known and much celebrated light and fragrant white wine

Trebbiano vineyards are located at an altitude of around 400 metres and farmed by applying the methods of organic agriculture to a vernacular cultivation system consisting of horizontally formed pergolas

The grape harvest is concentrated during the month of September and the fruits are transformed in a local wine cellar which operates through advanced vinification processes directed toward the production of organic certified wines
